MUSIC / SOUND / MIND / EMOTION
This immersive experience fuses experimental harp and electronically manipulated textures into a guided journey through the depths of perception and emotion. You won’t be told what to feel or think—but you will be invited to feel everything, to think in new dimensions. Each moment is crafted to draw you deeper into mystery, dissolving boundaries between sound, self, and silence. This is not merely a performance—it’s a rite of passage. A carefully constructed unraveling. Expect awe. Expect bewilderment. Expect to be stirred in ways that escape explanation. What you’ll find at the end cannot be promised—only that you won’t be the same.
Satoru is the boundary-blurring collaboration between visionary music producer Lee House and internationally acclaimed harpist Catrin Finch. Together, they weave soundscapes that transcend genre, expectation, and even the traditional boundaries of music itself to create music that moves both body and spirit.
Lee House has been a dynamic presence in the music industry since 2011. His genre-spanning productions have amassed over 50 million streams on Spotify; a testament to both his versatility and his deep understanding of music’s emotional core. After graduating with the highest distinction ever awarded in his Music Production course, Lee became a sought-after producer and engineer at Acapela Studio. It was here that fate aligned him with Catrin Finch, sparking a creative partnership that would evolve from producing albums and composing ballets to mesmerising live performances that fuse harp with electronic textures, ambient sound design, and digital manipulation.
Catrin Finch is a cultural icon in Wales and one of the world’s foremost harpists, celebrated for her bold artistry and pioneering spirit. Trained in the classical tradition, she has carved a path that defies convention, blending the purity of the harp with a diverse array of musical genres and global influences. Her work has touched audiences across continents, garnering critical acclaim and a dedicated following. As a proud LGBTQ+ artist, Catrin brings authenticity, depth, and a fearless creative voice to every project she touches, championing diversity and artistic freedom.
In recent years, the pair have turned their attention toward the intersection of music, healing, and human consciousness. In 2021, during a commission for the National Eisteddfod, they began exploring the use of binaural beats, sound waves, and musical entrainment—the powerful phenomenon of the body syncing with rhythm—to induce states of calm and presence. This research led to further collaborations with Lampeter University, including a 60-minute sonic journey designed to slow the heart rate through a gradual reduction of tempo, and an immersive work rooted in Ayurvedic principles, performed at a yoga conference to widespread acclaim.
Following the profound response to these performances, Lee and Catrin founded Satoru. Partnering with Arts Council Wales, they have embarked on an ambitious and transformative mission: to craft a musical pilgrimage—an immersive, sensory-rich experience that guides listeners inward through sound, emotion, and awareness. Their work invites audiences to pause, to feel, and to rediscover their connection to the present moment—one resonant note at a time.
